Petroglyphs are pictures carved into rocks and depict those things central the culture of the time. The petroglyphs in the area I was in are attributed to the Clovis, the Basket makers and the Anasazi Tribes. The marrow of the petroglyphs is un shaftn. While ab push through experts admit some of the petroglyphs depict mammoths, this claim is disputed by others. We simply do not get along the actual meanings of this rock art. We can make guesses as to what they wait to mean, but as the cultures that make the pictures are long extinct, we leave behind never accredit if our guesses are correct (Clark,2012).
